Teen heart throb singer Justin Bieber may have to appear before a court for the paparazzi scuffle which took place on Sunday at the parking lot of a mall in Calabasas, California. If charged and convicted, Bieber could face up to six months in jail for the alleged battery.
The incident took place when a paparazzi blocked Justin’s way as he approached his car. The singer allegedly pushed the paparazzi due to which the photographer complained of chest pains and was later treated and released from hospital. When the police arrived the scene, Bieber along with his girlfriend Selena Gomez had already left the scene.
The singer turned venture capitalist is at present away in Norway for a promotion of hid upcoming album ‘Believe’ which releases in about 3 weeks from now on 19th June. According to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County D.A.’s office, “Nothing has been presented yet, but there is a possibility it will be.” The police may be eager to interview Bieber, the witnesses who were at the incident would be lucky enough to get a chance to meet Bieber.
No representative of the pop star was available for any commwnts on the incident, however the pop sensation himself tweeted on Sunday, “gonna focus on the important stuff. the music.”
We just hope that this isn’t a serious matter and Bieber would be let off without any hesitation.
