Justin Bieber was seen riding his birthday gifted sports car Fisker Karma along with a friend on a sunny afternoon around LA before heading for lunch To Lapaz, a Mexican restaurant. This solar panel powered electric car marvel was gifted to him by his manager Scooter Braun on the occasion of Justin Bieber’s 18th birthday. On the Ellen Degeneres show, where Bieber was presented with the dream machine, Scooter said, ‘We wanted to make sure, since you love cars, that when you’re on the road you are always looking environmentally friendly, And we decided to get you a car that would make you stand out,’ he added, before the stunned star saw his new car.’

Justin Bieber is known for his craze for sports cars and we see the evidence in his latest music video of ‘Boyfriend’ as well where he is seen driving a muscle car. 'Someday' Has Won "Elizabeth Taylor Fragrance Celebrity of the Year Award"

The demand for Justin Bieber’s perfume ‘Someday’ has skyrocketed after its big win at FIFI awards. The awards which are sponsored by The Fragrance Foundation honor the fragrance industry’s creative achievements and is considered as the most valued and prestigious event in the fragrance industry. Its dubbed as the ‘oscars’ of the perfume world. The awards have been held since 1973 in New York City and are attended by around 1000 members from international fragrance industry, and celebrities from the field of fashion, theatre, film or television industries.

This years awards will be presented on May 21st in New York and Jane Lynch of ‘Glee’ fame will be hosting it.

According to the New York Daily, Justin Bieber’s women’s perfume ‘Someday’ broke records. The 18 year old will receive the “Elizabeth Taylor Fragrance Celebrity of the Year Award”, which honors a celebrity who has promoted and embraced the perfume world. This decision was unanimous by the Board of Directors.

As a result of the win, sales of ‘Someday’ perfume have escalated which resulted in a whopping profit of $3 million in just 3 weeks. Other perfumes in contention were Prada Candy and Tom Ford Violet Blonde.

The nouveau niche men and the nouveau niche women categories saw Ford’s Jasmin Rouge fragrance being nominated. Armani Code Sport, Gucci Guilty Pour Homme, John Varvatos USA, Yves Saint Laurent’s L’Homme Libre and Un Jardin Sur Le Toit by Hermes will fight it out for the best luxe men prize. Justin Bieber in SNL's 100th Digital Short

This Saturday the 12th of May saw the famous sketch comedy show NBC’s Saturday Night Live celebrating its 100th digital short. The sleek fantastic compilation of The Lonely Island’s output, in addition to an incredible production feat to get all of those past participants back for another go around was simply outstanding. It was one Easter Egg after another, wonderfully weaved together as both celebration, deconstruction, and summation.

The clip had Justin Bieber posing as one of the masterminds of the well acclaimed digital shorts. The original masterminds of the digital shorts are Andy Samberg, Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone. Well Justin replaced Akiva Schaffer and was seen with Andy & Jorma welcoming all the other celebrities one by one.

The show saw a cameo from this week’s host Will Farrell and took us back to some memorable classic moments which included Justin Timberlake and Samberg’s ” … In a Box” and its follow-ups “Mother Lover” and “Threeway” with Lady Gaga, Bolton’s Capt, with Jack Sparrow spoofing and Hamm’s Sergio the Sax Man. Bieber’s mentor Usher too joined in the party.

The clip may be intended to portray a sweet and celebrative look, but SNL had its own way of showing it as the trip down the memory lane was showcased with the men giving a gymnastic performance of self-pleasure. Check the video for a better understanding.

In other news, Justin Bieber gave his mother Pattie Mallette a unique Mother’s Day gift which falls today on 13th May. The talented singer released a song ‘Turn To You’ which he said was dedicated to his mom. “I wrote a song for my mum. She had me at the age I am now. It’s about the struggles she went through and how brave she was, and I think the world needed to know that,” he said.

Justin also attached this noble deed with charity which he does best by giving away all the proceeds to the charity drive he has started for Bethesda Care Center, in London which helps take care of single moms. It is here where his mom Pattie was staying while pregnant. The Bethesda Care Centre needs is in danger of closing down & needs $1.5 million in order to remain open. So a portion of the sales proceeds will be given away by Justin. The song is on #3 on iTunes charts.

As Mother’s Day arrives this weekend, what a way teen heartthrob Justin Bieber has thought of gifting his mom Pattie Mallette! As reported by MTV news, Justin Bieber has released a brand new song called ‘Turn to You’, dedicating it to his mom. The song will reflect the hardships faced by Justin and his mother in their early days. “I wrote a song for my mom. But I’m going to put it out on Mother’s Day”, Justin told MTV News.

On the other hand, Pattie Mallette will also be releasing her own version of their life struggles soon in her memoir ““Nowhere But Up: The Story of Justin Bieber’s Mother.”” Will the song and the memoir have some similarities in their content? We shall soon find out.

Regarding the song, Justin had to say, “[It's] about the struggles, I say in the song. She had me at like the age I am now. [It's about] just the struggles she went through and how brave she was, and I think the world needed to know that.” The song release coincides well with Justin graduating high school just a couple of days back. Justin admitted that it was for his mom as she encouraged her to finish school. The song along with Justn’s graduation would definitely be a fitting gift this mother’s day for Pattie.

Tweeting about the release of the song, Justin wrote, “Help moms in need. Give them strength. Thank u mom.” Justin plans to take it further by doing some charity as well. All the sales proceeds shall be donated to a noble cause that helps single mothers. On this Bieber tweeted, The song I wrote for my mom #TurnToYou hits ITUNES this Friday for Mother’s Day Weekend. Money raised will go to helping other single moms.”

According to E! news, the target of proceeds shall be $1.5 million and will be till May 31st. The proceeds will go to Bethesda Center,in London, Ontario. Pattie Mallette owes a lot to this center saying, “If it weren’t for Bethesda, I’m not sure where Justin or I would be. Bethesda gave us a chance.”

Ying Yang Twins’ famous track ‘Wait (The Whisper Song)’ was compared by many to be the inspiration to Justin Bieber’s hit single ‘Boyfriend’. The similarity was drawn with regards to the songs tempo, the lyrical delivery by Justin as well as its production. The single also had a low key vibe to make both the songs very much alike.

Well, after the hugely success single ‘Boyfriend’, the Ying Yang Twins on Wednesday came up with a remixed version of the same. Maybe it was kind of a tribute of returning the favor to the 18 year old. The remix starts off with “Ying Yang and Justin Bieber, oh!” and carry on with the lyrics of ‘Boyfriend’.

The original song, co-written and produced by Mike Posner & Mason Levy has brought about a new era of Justin Bieber’s music as he showcases some mature lyrics and a different music style altogether. This perfectly suits the now 18 year old rising star and will help him a long way as he prepares himeself for giving his fans the brand new album ‘Believe’ on June 19th.

Before Justin comes in with his version in the remix, the Twins do their rap, “I don’t wanna be your boyfriend, I wanna be your man/ He a little-bitty boy, I’m a grown man/ I can take you overseas, a harmless breeze/ Then you and me can have sex on the beach/ I bet you ain’t never met someone like me/ I’m the broom, you the dust pan/ Sweep you off your feet/ You can be my woman, I can be your man/ If you got a little sister, Justin Bieber want to be her boyfriend.”

The lyrics of the Ying Yang Twins version matches quite closely to the original ‘Boyfriend’ lyrics which also emphasizes o travelling around the world. Although there are no references to fondue or Buzz Lightyear references this time around.

The music video of ‘Boyfriend’ already saw a record breaking opening in terms of number of views on You Tube. The video showcases some cool dance moves by Justin Bieber along with his passion for muscle cars as well. Bieber also performed the hit single live for the first time on the music talent show ‘The Voice’ Season 2 finale.

In an interview with MTV news, when Justin was asked why he chose ‘Boyfriend’?, Justin said,” I just thought it was like, of all the songs I had at that time, it was the song that most repped me at the time and [that] I wanted to put out there and what I wanted people to hear and the type of new fresh sound that I wanted to hear, I thought that that was a perfect first single to come out with.”

Justin Bieber once again made his presence felt in the music talent show ‘The Voice’ after he gave an energetic performance of his latest hit single ‘Boyfriend’ live for the first time ever. A few weeks earlier on the same show Bieber had agreed to perform live on the talent show and he did not disappoint his fans. The show saw talented singer Jermaine Paul win the second season. But Justin Bieber’s swags with the mature lyrics before the announcement made the show even more special. the performance was well matched with the attire he wore, gold boots with a gold studded leather jacket and black pants. In front of a screaming wave of girl fans, Bieber hit the stage accompanied by a dazzling light show along with hot dancer babes.

The music video of ‘Boyfriend’ released last week & shattered You Tube records for the most number of single-day views. ‘Boyfriend’ is the single release from Justin Bieber’s upcoming album ‘Believe’ which releases June 19th.

Earlier on Tuesday, the 18 year old did notify all his fans through Twitter about the big day. the tweet said, “BIG DAY TODAY. Performing #BOYFRIEND for the first time Live on the FINALE of @NBCTheVoice.”

Apart from Justin Bieber, the show also had other music artists performing. The show opened with Flo Rida & Juliet Simms performing ‘Whistle’ & ‘Wild One’ in rendition. They were followed by Hall & Oates who performed “Rich Girl” after which Lady Antellum performed ‘Wanted You More’.

Justin Bieber With Mom Pattie Mallette

After being the idol for millions of fans, Justin Bieber has achieved yet another feat. Yes, he passed his high school. Well, we say its a feat as its not easy to be working as hard as Bieber does and then along with that do school as well. Yet another time we see Justin’s love for his mom Pattie Mallette as after passing out he openly spoke that it was for his mom that he did this. After the amount of fame Justin has earned already, he could well retire and the fortunes which he has earned could last his lifetime. But at the request of his single mother Pattie Mallete, Justin agreed and made sure he had a backup plan by completing high school.

‘I just finished high school. I passed my test – I’m free! It was hard doing school and work every day,’ said Bieber. He also added, ‘School was something my mom really wanted me to do, so I had to do it for her.’

Speaking of his current lifestyle of work with studies, the 18 year old said, ‘I mean, this kind of lifestyle has given me a different perspective on life. I’ve been able to travel the world. At school, usually you have to do a lot of writing and reading. I’m really not into that stuff. I like to be out there!’

It must have been a challenge for Justin to cope up with studies along with touring the planet and performing shows. Still he is now delighted that he is free of his studies.

Speaking to Australia’s Daily Telegraph newspaper Justin said, ‘Here’s the thing, I’m my own person. I don’t make my decisions based around what people are going to think of me.
‘I make them based on what I want to do and who I think I want to be. If none of this was happening, if there were no cameras around me, that’s the kind of person I’d want to be – a good person.’

Justin Bieber’s dad Jeremy Bieber is still quite close to him and has 2 other children from another woman after Justin’s birth. He had left Pattie 10 months after Justin was born. Pattie Mallette on the other hand will soon be releasing her memoir ‘Nowhere But Up: The Story of Justin Bieber’s Mom. The memoir will reveal her struggles with poverty wwhich she has gone through in her life including a suicide attempt when she was 17 years old. It will also reveal some family secrets, her teen pregnancy as well as drug and alcohol abuse. Her woes have finally over as her son Justin now has the world under his feet.
