Justin Bieber was one of the major winners at the star studded when the teen star bagged 5 awards at the teen choice awards 2012. The crowd swaying singer has now won a total of 12 awards with these 5 wins. The 18 year old teen also gave stellar performances of his singles ‘Boyfriend’ and As Long As You Love Me’. It was definitely a special night for Justin as his girl friend Disney Star Selena Gomez also won choice music group trophy. The ‘Spring Breakers’ actress also received a birthday cake as it was his birthday. The birthday girl was also wished by the singing crowd at the Gibson Amphitheater where the coveted awards ceremony were hosted.

The awards scored a huge fan following especially from the teen fans as the total amount of votes crossed 134 million.

Other prominent winners at the show included the Twilight Saga series continuing to reign at the awards and now has a total of 41 awards which are like surf board trophies. The latest edition of awards was the ultimate choice award given to the Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1.

All 3 stars from Twilight namely Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart & Taylor Lautner collected the awards for their movie.

Taylor thanked their screaming fans, ““It’s amazing you guys are still around and just as strong and just as loyal.”

Some other winners included The Hunger Games, actress Emma Stone, TV show Pretty Little Liars, the British boy band One Direction and CW show The Vampire Diaries.

Country singer Taylor Swift won her 20th trophy making her the female who has won the most number of awards here.
