Justin Bieber has been supporting the documentary feature ‘Bully’ for weeks now, urging his fans to go and see the film. The film was involved in a controversy when the censor board rated it R which led to many protests from the celebrity fraternity. Finally The Weinstein Company, which is behind the film has announced that a new TV spot is soon going to be aired of the PG-13 film. It will be a 30-second ad which made its debut at Fandango and soon will be aired nationally.
Justin Bieber has agreed to lend his inspirational song ‘Born to Be Somebody’ for this new promo. In a statement Bieber was thankful to his fans asying “one of the things I’m most proud of as an entertainer.” Regarding the documentary he encouraged his fans reiterating, “I hope they see Bully with their friends and help start the conversation so we can end bullying.”Watch the trailer of ‘Bully’ here.
Along with Justin Bieber, Glee actors Cory Monteith and Naya Rivera have also been supporting the Bully campaign. They partnered with GLAAD and TWC in a couple of Public Service Announcements (PSA’s) that was exclusively premiered on EW.com.
Justin Bieber’s song ‘Born To Be Somebody’ would perfectly fit the theme of the film which shows the life of the kids who go through bullying and ragging in their school days and how they cope up with it. The movie will release in theatres worldwide on April 13th.
