Justin Bieber announced the much awaited ‘Believe Tour’ will kick off in September. The headlining North American will cover 45 cities and will concluded in January 2013. Stops which are planned in the four month long tour include Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Winnipeg, Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto’s cavernous Rogers Centre.
Not all the fans of Justin Bieber were excited about it as the local boy seems to have missed Vancouver. The fans of Vancouver shared their disappointed over Twitter as they would be missing out to see their teen idol perform live. Its quite surprising that Bieber hasn’t included Vancouver in the tour as Carly Rae Jepsen, who would be doing the opening act of the tour is also from nearby Mission. The ‘Call me Maybe’ singer was discovered by Justin Bieber who later signed her up in his Schoolboy Records.
Scooter Braun, the manager of Justin Bieber came to the rescue & looked into the matter. In one of his tweets he tried his best to calm the outraged fans, “U really think we would put (Jepsen) on the tour and not hit Vancouver?? Sit tight .”
There have been unconfirmed reports now circulating that Bieber would indeed visit Vancouver on October 10th between gigs in Tacoma, Wash., and Calgary. Still that wasn’t enough for the die hard fans of Bieber. Even a day after Scooter Braun’s message “#vancouverwantsBELIEVETOUR” was the most trending topic on Twitter locally as fans continued to pour their angst. One Tweet read, “Even if you aren’t from Vancouver, PLEASE HELP,” while another urged the fans to spread the word, “Beliebers help Beliebers right?”
The presale of ‘Bieber tour’ tickets have already begun on 23rd May for the Justin Bieber Fan Club, while for the general public of Canada tickets will be available from June 1st.
The much anticipated album ‘Believe’ hits the stores on June 19th & will be featuring some major collaborations with artists like Drake, Big Sean, Ludacris & Nicki Minaj.
The 18 year old’s earlier 2 albums ‘My World 2.0′ & ‘Under The Mistletoe’ have been triple platinum hits in Canada & the single ‘Boyfriend’ of ‘Believe’ album has already topped the charts along with over 50 million views of its music video on You Tube.
